In the time of the virus: Sunday’s (virtual) trip – Fanø

We were really looking forward to revisiting our 2016 trip to Denmark,  It was such a wonderful experience.  We spent a few days with our friends at their home, then travelled together to the holiday home they’d rented on Fanø – an island off the west coast of Denmark, close to Esbjerg (where the ferry from Harwich used to go).

In preparation, I baked a batch of morning rolls and Malcolm put together a slide show and edited a couple of videos.

It was a completely wonderful ‘trip’, and left both of us longing to return there.

So many good memories.  I hope you have plenty of good memories to feast on right now.  See you again tomorrow xx

Now I've passed 60 I'm still doing all sorts of things I haven't done before, as well as carrying on with the things I already love. I live a happy life with my long term love Malcolm. In my blog I explore local and low tech ideas, food, growing, making, reading, thinking, walking, and lots of other words ending in 'ing'.

I love to read your comments. I don't expect everyone to agree with me, and I don't mind if you don't. However, I ask you to respect the 'circle time' rules made by my son's primary school teacher: make a comment, ask a question or say something nice. Thank you!
