Busy day today, with lots done. Always satisfying.
Writing: report from my zoom meeting yesterday
Receiving: the package I thought was coming yesterday arranged as promised today. It’s sitting in quarantine
Walking: an always enjoyable local walk, clocking up enough steps to make up for the lack of a walk yesterday. Today there was a new bridge to see for the first time (work in progress still)
Gardening: lots of clearing and weeding, working to make up for my absence for pretty much two months. Lots more to do, but at least I feel I’m making progress now
Enjoying: all of the above. Also, sitting out on the terrace outside the garden enjoying my fika this morning – so mild out, and sunshine. Daily photos of granddaughter posted on the family WhatsApp never fail to cheer, and today’s were a particular joy. At two and half, she takes her farm chores seriously and enjoys doing them. Today when she got home from nursery she helped feed the goats (and she really did a real job; not playing)
Cooking (not cooking): Left it too late to get started, and too tired. Malcolm stepped in to cook tonight. Jewish food week on hold (though I did spend some time reading one of my excellent books – Evelyn Rose’s massive tome)
